Haiku 142 Look Forward
Look forward-
focus on where you want to go-

This is the photo I submitted for the Dogwood Challenge this week with the theme of Mood.
Haiku 141 Rusted and Worn
Rusted and worn
but could still do its job, instead
trees are spray painted.
I don't know about you but when I hike I look for the markers on trees. At this park they've switched to spraying the trees in a messy pattern. I think it's unattractive and honestly I don't connect to their purpose as easily as these markers or even notice the painting as easily. Perhaps I'm trying to block out the ugliness in it.
