Spring is coming...
This pelican was swimming alone near the locks along the Mississippi River. We didn't see any other ones there the two days we stopped by looking for eagles. It wasn't until I edited the pictures I noticed it's neck looks like it has something wrong with it. I wonder if it's injured or sick and couldn't join rest of the flock where ever they went.
